The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) invites you to come join our team of dedicated IT professionals who technically support the daily live show, The 700 Club. This qualified technician will be responsible for implementation and analysis of technical products and systems for the DC News Bureau.

The Network Engineer will need to be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within one or more of the following Engineering specialist: Network Operating Systems, Messaging, Remote Access and/or Multi-media Systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-3 years experience, preferred relating to network operations support
• MCP or MCSE 2000/2003 certification desired
• Knowledge in Windows 2000/2003/2008, Active Directory with experience in the deployment & migration in large & complex production environments
• Experience and knowledge in specialty area with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Microsoft network services such as DNS, WINS & DHCP
• Experience with Dell, HP hardware and SANS, a plus
• Understanding of Network Services servers, IIS & Exchange server hardening & security
• Knowledge and experience with Apple Xserve, XSAN and Macintosh a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of current and developing technologies and ability to analyze technology for use in current environment
• Ability to be well-organized, an excellent communicator and a team player
• Ability to be client centric and work in a variety of environments; must be able to manage customer relationships
• Familiarity with AV production and editing suites and applications (e.g. Pathfire, ENPS, Final Cut Pro) a plus
