Candidatates MUST have strong and deep Maximo development experience.

The candidate will work in a small team environment of approx 6 developers. Make sure your candidate is comfortable with this environment.

This position is eligible for a bonus based on company and individual performance.

· Will work as a member of a team and have primary accountability for the operation and maintenance of portal applications.
· Define design and implement solutions within scope in response to a business need.
· Coordinate modifications with other Application and Infrastructure team members to ensure complete solutions are defined and implemented.
· Work according to Change Control Procedures.
· Monitor and support any portal application to ensure the highest level of system availability.

The essential responsibilities of the Maximo Developer include:
· Create and maintain Maximo J2EE applications from design specifications using sound
Object Oriented Design principles and MVC style architecture for web publication.
· Be able to independently implement complete Maximo J2EE applications.
· Architect WebSphere solutions.
· Monitor the daily production loads.
· Fix failed data loads, full and delta.
· Provide input, recommendations, and resolutions for technical issues.
· Review and participate in testing of data design, tool design, data loads, and
presentation system design.
· Develop and implement process improvements.
· Needs analysis/requirements gathering with business users.
· Identification and resolution of data integrity issues.
· Development and execution of system test plans.

Qualified candidates must possess an Associates Degree in Information Systems or
related education or equivalent work and professional software development experience
of 6+ years. A Bachelors Degree in an Information Systems related area is preferred.

MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

Must have expert knowledge of technical design alternatives and have strong analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:
· DB2
· SQL Server
· Windows Server 2003
· Maximo
· BIRT/ECLIPSE
· MS Office suite experience is helpful.
