We are in need of a senior level SharePoint Consultant experienced in SharePoint design, architecture, development and administration.

The consultant will need to demonstrate, provide implementation guidance and best practice usage in the following areas of MOSS:

a. Corporate branding

b. Use of themes

c. Site collections

d. Master pages (and master page components)

e. Content types and site columns

f. Security and permissions

g. Audience targeting

h. Inheritance

i. CSS customization

j. Standard and custom workflows

k. Development, test, and production environments

The Consultant will provide a Technology overview and feature enhancements of next major release of MOSS.

The Consultant will be expected to deliver a MOSS recommendations and roadmap report, detailing the approach the company should take, with major tasking and high order magnitudes of effort and schedule. The roadmap shall document the current state of the technology environment and include a detailed checklist of implementation considerations, applying MOSS best practices, and shall explicitly list recommendations for expansion of the MOSS and technology environment to accommodate the growth of the company This roadmap shall take into account the company's current project efforts to establish its own data center independent of the parent company.

Experience and Skills required:

Must have SharePoint 2007 and Office 2007 integration, Workflow design and development; SharePoint branding & InfoPath development. Branding of SharePoint and using themes, CSS in SharePoint, Site collections, Master pages and their components, developing reusable web parts, customizing SharePoint lists, Content types and best ways to plan for their use, audience targeting, Workflows in SharePoint - standard, out of the box , and how to develop custom workflows, Security and permissions, Inheritance in SharePoint, key performance indicators (KPI's) , approaches for implementing dashboards and summary/department level reporting, SharePoint Designer, how to leverage Wikis and Blogs in SharePoint, migration strategy for existing documents into SharePoint, SharePoint as the Intranet portal, SharePoint as an Extranet portal (for customers), how to implement development, staging/QA, and production environments. Requires "solid" verbal communication and customer facing skills. Must be self-motivated, highly reliable and professional, and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
