Financial Systems Engineer ( ERP )

A client of A.C.Coy's is seeking a talented Financial Systems Engineer to join them on a fulltime basis, at their corporate location in Pittsburgh PA corporate office. You as the Financial Systems Engineer will be responsible for the administration, design, configuration, administration and maintenance of the global financial systems and utilities. You will also oversee the data flow between Hyperion Suite and other data source systems to ensure data validity and integrity.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should possess knowledge of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the Information Technology field. This position requires demonstrated expertise and significant contributions at a corporate level to the advancement of Business and Financial systems. Candidates must be proficient with computerized accounting systems and reporting systems as well as possess the ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Candidates must also possess skills/abilities in the following:
• High level of analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the use of ingenuity and creativity.
• Ability to plan and initiate system strategies and approaches to resolve technical issues and risk mitigation without significant oversight.
• Experience required in MS Windows or Unix platforms.
• Experience desired in client/server interaction with MS SQL, Oracle, Analysis Services or like enterprise database platform.
• Experience desired in one or more Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc. Experience with SAP strongly preferred.
• Experience required in one or more of the following development environments: Informatica, Microsoft DTS, or FDM.
• Experience required in one or more of the following systems: Hyperion, Outlooksoft, Cognos, Business Objects, Shared Services.
• Ability to work directly with internal customers to provide assistance and resolution to information technology issues.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical internal customers.

Candidates must possess a BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience. Candidates who possess a MS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline should have a minimum of 3 years experience. However, a combination of experience and / or education will be taken into consideration.
