The Consultant will be doing all Java Web development for a Web Self Servicing project. This is where customers can view and modify their data on the company's website. The consultant will be primarily developing Web Services and Servlets to be consumed by the a 3rd party software application they purchased. There will be enhancement to the existing architecture, and will be all new development.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has strong experience developing Web Services in a RAD 7.5 environment and deploying them on Websphere. Candidates Must be able to do this to be considered. Because of the timelines, our client does not have the opportunity to train candidates on Websphere or RAD 7.5. If the candidate is a certified Websphere developer that is a plus.

EXPERT: J2EE Servlet
EXPERT: Web Services Standards implementations: WS-Security, WS-Addressing, WS-Transaction, WS-Routing, WS-Reliability, etc?
EXPERT: JSON/RPC with Web2.0 feature packs
EXPERT: JPA, EJB, JMS
EXPERT: IBM Certified WebSphere Developer
EXPERT: Rational Application Developer 7.5 (RAD)
HIGH Confidence: Object Oriented Design
HIGH Confidence: SQL Server and other RDBMS
HIGH Confidence: Command Chaining and like Patterns
