Senior C# .NET Software Developer

Our Client (very stable insurance company) in Oak Brook, IL is looking for an experienced Information Technology (IT) professional to design, develop, and implement software applications. Candidate must be a motivated, self-directed, results-oriented person who is interested in playing a key role in transforming systems for the organization.

DUTIES: You will be responsible for:

(1) Doing FSLC (Full Systems Life Cycle Agile-like methodology), C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, MVC, XML/XSLT, and MS SQL Server development of Internet and Intranet based e-commerce applications with a particular focus on SOA (Service Oriented Architecture);
(2) Leading a small team of several developers;
(3) Providing troubleshooting through resolution of any issues that arise.

REQUIRED:
MUST have a bachelors degree with a technical influence (i.e. Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.). THIS IS NOT A FLEXIBLE REQUIREMENT.

5 years of STRONG/CURRENT ASP.NET 2.0 and 3.5 development with STRONG/CURRENT Windows services and Web Services development experience.

Must have 5 years of e-commerce applications development.

5 years STRONG/CURRENT XML and MS SQL Server 2005 programming.

Must have STRONG/CURRENT SOA development experience (at least 5 years).

MUST have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and have the demeanor to interact heavily with executive management and key/critical customers.

Pluses: AJAX.
