Our Client's services include full motion video, music, messages, and environmental scents that provide brand texture for customers and create integrated, multi-sensory environments that drive repeat business. We are recruiting for an Oracle Business Analyst to join their team in Austin. This person will supervise a team of telesales representatives whose primary focus will be up-selling the customers' services. Eventually this role's focus will evolve to growing our book of business. Majority of sales will be service/subscription based: scent, messaging, music, video, text marketing tools + any hardware that is required to install or deliver the product itself. This will be a call center environment.

Position Overview

Our client will soon begin implementation of Oracle EBS (R12) with Siebel CRM on Demand. We are seeking a well-rounded Oracle Business Analyst with both functional expertise in Oracle CRM applications and technical knowledge of Oracle R12 who can be intimately involved with setting the course for the design and day to day support of the application environment.

The Oracle Business Analyst will work extensively with Oracle Applications during the implementation with a focus on CRM related modules, especially Field Service, Teleservice, Service Contracts, Sales Contracts, and Billing. Knowledge of Oracle Financials is a plus. Collaborate with IT management in the design, development, and deployment of the organization's Oracle applications.

The Oracle Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting our clients functional and reporting requirements within the Oracle eBusiness Suite of applications. As such, this role will manage deployment of such applications; including business process analysis, testing, timely implementation, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

Global Solution Design: Assess and recommend improvements to business processes and supporting organizational design. Challenge design to facilitate simplification, customer orientation, standardization, and enterprise optimization rather than functional silos. Introduce industry best practices in field service, service contracts, billing, supply chain, and customer service. Keeps current on IT and industry trends as they affect the project.
Collaborate with the business users and IT management in the design, development, and deployment of the organizations Oracle eBusiness Suite of applications.
Support our end-user community by providing second tier application and training support as required, and providing research, analysis and problem resolution to team members.
Liaise with various business groups in the organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved business process requirements for all IT-related business, financial, and operations systems critical to core organizational functions.
Provide consultation and training to staff on issues to ensure compliance.
Effective management of internal client services -- which allows all users to address questions, report problems, and submit requests related to IT production.
Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements is essential.
Support the end-user community by providing application, change management and training support with solutions that satisfy the business user and conform to the organizations goals.
Document and communicate changes throughout the user organization, supporting change management and compliance.
Project Control: Leads the development of effective plans for controlling project scope, schedule and cost baseline, and monitors the project execution to ensure that the plan is being followed.
Gather business requirements, provide functional specs, and business process documentation.
Assist development team in gathering business requirements, providing functional specs, business process documentation, testing and approval.
Resource Management: Manages teams comprised of business analysts and project leads. Ensures team members are adequately trained, and performing at the required level. Selects, develops, and motivates assigned staff. Responsible for guiding and directing the overall success of all projects through associated staff.
Big picture view, yet understanding of the details of business needs, processes, and information flows through the system.
Experience with OBIEE and integration with custom application a plus.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Business Management.
5-7 years of equivalent, relevant work experience.
Consulting experience is a definite plus, especially due to the broad range of knowledge and experience that our client is seeking.
Oracle eBusiness Suite experience (R12 preferred): Field Services, Teleservice, Service Contracts, Sales Contracts, Billing; Financials, Order and Inventory Management would be a plus.
Working knowledge of Systems Life Cycle development methodologies and Oracle implementations.
Experience with tables, views, triggers, configurations and stored procedures in providing support to the production environment.
Strong use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, and Project).
Candidate must be skilled in leading cross-functional and distributed teams on large initiatives.
Skilled in developing project documentation such as scope definition, work breakdown structure, organizational breakdown structure, project plan, schedule, budget and risk management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
