The Web Analytics Manager is a key member of BestBuy.com's Customer Experience team responsible for the providing reporting and analysis of the online channel and its customers. Lead a best in class web analytics team responsible for optimizing website behavior and driving business results. Serve as an expert of online behavior, web analytics and performance reporting. Responsible for analyzing key performance metrics, building dashboards, competitive benchmarking and trending, and communicating key insights to leadership, business teams and other internal clients. Direct website optimization and analysis efforts of the team. Formulate recommendations for improvement by analyzing multiple sources of data, web analytics, transactional data, offline data, customer insights, industry research and competitive intelligence. Provide expert knowledge and insight into online business and customer behavior as well as in-store influence of the website. Identify business challenges, conduct analyses and provide insights with recommendations to address business needs. Conduct ongoing research into analytics trends and best practices to be considered and implemented into analytics methodologies. Gather business requirements for web analytics enhancements and manage roadmap of improvements. Lead the execution of analytics implementations for Best Buy website properties working with technical architects and business team to gather requirements, execute implementation, validate data is accurately collected and reporting developed. Add value to the organization by giving the business teams the data solutions necessary to assist them in meeting their digital business goals for now and in the future. Website properties supported include BestBuy.com, GeekSquad.com, Supportopedia.com, MyRewardZone.com, FutureShop.com, BestBuy.ca.com, Napster, and future properties to be developed. Position provides the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across the Enterprise, exposure to various levels of leadership and many cross-functional business teams with the responsibility to make recommendations for continuous improvement. Hire, train and manage a team of employees and contingent workers.

BASIC QUALS:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 8 or more years of business performance reporting in a large scale retail or ecommerce environment. Online Marketing experience a definite plus
• 5 or more years of leading/managing a team
• Strong experience with a web analytics tool, i.e. Omniture, HBX, Coremetrics, WebTrends or Google Analytics
• Familiarity with web analytics implementation and HTML/Javascript coding
• Experience with analytics and/or Business Intelligence tools like MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Crystal Reports or SQL
• Must be able to clearly articulate key findings to the appropriate audience and evangelize the use of analytics to drive change, marrying data analytics with sound business insight and judgment
• Ability to produce insightful, relevant and reliable quantitative analysis and reports in a deadline oriented work environment
• Experience with report design and business analysis for multiple audiences including executives
• Ability to handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously
PREFFERED QUALS:
• Master's Degree preferred
