Fast Growing Healthcare Organization Seeks Senior Desktop Engineer!

Tremendous opportunity with a rapidly expanding healthcare company in the Buffalo area!

The responsibilities for the senior desktop engineer position are to implement and maintain service desk, PC management and imaging tools and associated platforms. On a day to day basis the candidate will be providing 2nd and 3rd level support to end users on a variety of issues including but not limited to:
• Software installation, hardware support, printing, and problem resolution.
• Responding to incoming telephone calls, email requests and service tickets.
• Developing and maintaining scripts and automated processes to improve in-efficiencies within the desktop environment
• Create policies and procedures
• Evaluate and test new software applications
• Act as liaison between service desk and infrastructure teams to provide senior level support

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPEREINCE
• 5-7 years of desktop support and help desk environment
• PC imaging tools (ghost, powerquest, etc)
• PC management tools (Altiris, LANDesk,etc)
• Windows Operating Systems
• E-mail client configurations (Exchange/Outlook)
• Scripting or batch file customizations
• Two year technical degree or any combination of education and experience
• MUST have strong Active Directory Group Policy experience
• Certifications such as Network+, A+, MCSA/MCSE or CCNA highly preferred
