Job Summary:
Responsible for providing technical expertise in the design and development of an Enterprise Datawarehouse (EDW), and expert understanding of the ETL (Extract, Translate and Load) development practices in the Business Intelligence and data warehousing areas. Responsibilities also Enterprise governance policies around the DB2 datawarehouse and ETL implementation. Will also be responsible to work closely with the business units/Segments to understand their business needs and help them design their data warehouse model and ETL scripts that will incorporate Enterprise governance policies and industry best practices. Will provide support for the resolution of any production that the site/segment is unable to resolve and for the migration of scripts to Production. Responsible for collaborating with the outsourcing partner and the software vendor in the areas of ETL, data warehousing, and other areas as appropriate.

Requirements:
7 + years of progressive IT and or business experience in the Data Warehousing or Business Intelligence areas and Data Warehousing and ETL areas required
· 3+ years work experience in Informatica mapping and workflow development, job scheduling, data quality validation and testing required
· Comprehensive understanding of relational and dimensional database concepts required
· 3+ years experience managing andoptimizing ETL environments on major RDBMSs
· Comprehensive understanding of data warehouse-specific load architectures, database partitioning, parallelism required
· 3+ years experience in maintaining complex ETL environments with largedata volumes
· Knowledge of DB2 data warehousing preferred
· 2+ years experience understanding and developing business requirements and process mapping, interface definition, system integration for Data Warehousing and ETL applications.

Education: BS or BA degree in Information Technology or Business related field
