Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer
(File System- Energetic)

JOB RESPONSIBILITY/ SUMMARY
We need a strong designer, developer to support the File System related software of Pillar Data. You will participate in all team functions within the File system group and cross functional group with Engineering. Provide guidance to junior engineers on software development and file system designs. Work with the engineering managers to deliver with accurate schedule for new projects or existing bug fixes.
* Need someone who is seeking some challenges and has worked on large projects and worked in the File Systems area already .

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Design, develop and document major features for Pillar's journaling file system and the next generation file system. Work with test engineering to fix issues found by internal testing. Work with customer support to fix issues found by customers. You need to be an innovator and know when to take the initiative to take on tasks and get the job done in a timely manner.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: BS or MS in Computer Science.
Minimum Experience: 10-15 years of related industry experience.
Knowledge: File System, Storage Systems, Software Development.
Analytical / Interpersonal Skills: Both are extremely important
