Job Function:
The Business Analyst is responsible for strategic, tactical and operational information systems planning activities for client areas; conducting projects to define strategic plans, outline major client requests, and lead business-process reengineering projects; creating tactical information systems plans; creating and maintaining process maps and documentation; recommending projects for inclusion in budget; establishing and supporting measurement and evaluation processes; acting as an agent of change in the initiation and facilitation of strategic change to the business and its supporting information systems.
Skill Requirement:
Minimum 4-8 years progressive combination of experience in project leadership and management, business analysis with focus on process re-engineering
Experience with business case and financial analysis
Experience defining business requirements
Ability to develop professional presentations
Excellent facilitation, organizational and communication skills
Strong team player
Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Knowledge of current information technology industry trends
Superior diplomacy, judgement and tact
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Proficiency with PC products (office tools including Visio and MS Project)
Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
