Sales Engineer - Los Angeles California

A client of A.C.Coy's is seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join them on a fulltime basis, at their Fremont California corporate office. You as the Sales Engineer will be responsible for working with very high level Account Executives in developing, designing, presenting and closing complex voice and data applications to Enterprise, National, and Government level accounts.

If you have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, (Cisco Certification preferred ) , a minimum of 7 years of field telecommunications/data sales/technical experience supporting quota bearing sales executives, at least 50% of which should be working with Enterprise level customers requiring cutting-edge technology or complex voice and data applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated leadership skills

• Extensive knowledge of IP networking (including enterprise routing protocols of IS-IS, OSPF, and BGP)

• Extensive knowledge of enterprise connectivity methods including wavelength, MPLS, SONET, private line, Ethernet, and VPN

• Extensive knowledge of CPE including firewalls, routers, switches, and servers

• Extensive knowledge of traditional and leading-edge voice options including SIP, TDM voice, IP telephony, PBX systems

• Extensive knowledge of business continuity solutions including failover, redundancy, and disaster recover

• Expert level knowledge of MS Office, Visio, and PC-based network utility tools

• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with a proven track record of presenting to all levels of an organization and closing sales including IT managers, mid-level managers, and C-level executives

• Knowledgeable of Outside PlantSales Engineer

• Demonstrated exceptional and successful customer presentation skills with proven successful track record of potential sales closures

• Must be comfortable conversing expertly and clearly with Enterprise level customers
