MUST be currently living in the Charlotte area. Six month contract with possible extensions.Project Manager supporting Emax/Enterprise Asset Mgt system. Responsibilities Include: 1. Project planning, including scope, schedule, resource needs, and detailed workplan creation 2. Workplan execution / management a. Ensures project milestones are achieved. b. Identifies and implement methods to improve the support environment. c. Ensures all support measures of success are achieved d. Analyzes and controls proposed changes to the support plan or cost estimate. e. Ensures development and maintenance of appropriate support documentation and records of assumptions, important events, decisions, actions, or problems. f. Controls actions and responsibilities as necessary to align team performance with team goals. g. Anticipates and promptly identifies potential problems 3. Weekly status reporting 4. Tracking and resolution of support team issues Competencies Required: MS Project, Visio 1. 4 year degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. 2. 4 or more years of experience showing a demonstrated competency in delivering efficient and effective solutions to diverse and moderately complex business requirements. 3. Demonstrated effective project management skills especially planning and directing work efforts, and motivating team mates. 4. Experience coordinating and reviewing the work of a work group. 5. Demonstrated success translating objectives into project plans. 6. Demonstrated success with scheduling and cost processes. 7. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. 8. Demonstrated interpersonal, human relations and communications skills. Works efficiently with customers, teammates, and management. 9. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately using oral and written communications. Effective presentation skills. 10. Effectively negotiates with others to reach agreement which will meet the organization's needs 11. Ability to conduct effective meetings. 12. Shows sensitively and concern for the needs/views of other teammates; treats other employees with respect. 13. Ability to effectively apply established project standards and change management processes Desired: 1. Demonstrated experience managing moderately complex I/T projects. 2.
