Responsibilities:
* Primarily monitor and manage Oracle Database in zOS / Linux platforms. Secondary roles in maintaining DB2 / UDB on Linux
* Maintain database backup and recovery procedures that support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery service levels.
* Perform monitoring and tuning for performance for storage management and analyze results for future enhancements to the system.
* Roles include capacity planning, performance tuning, installation, upgrades and maintenance.
* Provide Level 2 / 3 support, serve as single point of contact for escalation and resolution
* Experience in financial industry and maintenance of large scale financial database a big plus.

Qualifications:
* BS in Computer Science.
* 8-10 years Oracle DBA experience on zOS / Linux.
* DB2 / UDB on Linux
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
