We have a position located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, relocation -- by the way -- will be paid for by the company.

System Architect, Power AC/DC

This is a Managerial position - TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST HAVE:

•Working experience in switching power supplies AC/DC, DC/DC with various topologies (Full-Bridge, Half-Bridge, Forward, Boost, Flyback, ZVS, PFC, synchronous rectifier current sharing and hot swappable.)

•Experience with harmonic analysis, fault analysis, circuit protection, and system stability. Power flow, short circuit, harmonics and protection studies. Working with power level of 400W-2KW.

•Experience in magnetic design.

•Experience in Analog circuit design (Analog circuit with transistor Level, Op-Amp, D/A, A/D, interface with micro-controller, sensing techniques and calibration).

•Develop relationship with key Enterprise class vendors and customers.

•Develop, evaluate, and select power circuit topologies, circuit components, protective measures, and control policies to meet performance and cost objectives.

•Develop and document hardware requirements and specifications, develop hardware architecture, and participate in the development of hardware test and verification/validation plans and procedures.

•Define equipment for evaluation and testing, define processes and ensure adherence.

•Fundamentals in the design of power electronics, understanding of electric power conversion concepts and selection of electrical equipment.

•Understanding of cost points (Cent/W), technology drivers, efficiency targets, Redundancy.

Salary includes a strong base plus a possible bonus plan.
