Senior LAMP developer

The web-based application is an Enterprise Medicaid Program Management System. Not a public web-site.

This senior level LAMP developer requires a minimum 5 yrs demonstration of the following skills and experience:
•The developer should possess strong object-oriented design and development skills relevant to a server-based web application.

•Experience working through the complete software product development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, test, deployment, maintenance)
•Object-oriented design and development skills with PHP5
•Strong knowledge of SQL and database access practices and technologies, MySQL preferred
•The developer should be able to drive project development and actively contribute to our continuously evolving code base, at every level of the LAMP stack, strong knowledge with XML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, Smarty Templates
•Strong knowledge of Apache and Linux administration
•AJAX, Browser technologies
•Healthcare experience
•Experience with agile software development practices
•Experience with large scale web applications
•JavaScript widgets
•Service Oriented Architecture
•Object-Relational Mapping
•Query and Expression Languages
•Source control system -- SVN

This is a focused, hands-on development team working in a creative, fast-paced business-driven environment with opportunities to work in multiple capacities. They must be able to work independently and with little management oversight. They have to be a strong n-tier developer with advanced business logic development skills.
