- Looking for a seasoned Systems Engineer to ensure stable operations of all internal systems, including software applications, hardware and networking.
- Will be depended upon to maintain a secure IT environment (Windows, UNIX, Citrix, Symantec solutions, Microsoft business applications, etc.).
- System performance, security, stability, data access are at the top of the priority list.
- Will be involved in troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software problems, including end user desktop PCs, terminals, and enterprise data servers.
- Will be responsible for management and administration of all e-mail messaging systems and associated software and hardware.
- Responsibilities include monitoring and analysis of e-mail system server activities to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, capacity analysis and availability.
- Windows Server installation / support background desired.
- Requires extensive experience with MS Exchange, Outlook and Outlook Express and Microsoft Office.
- Background administering MS SQL Server a plus.
- Prior experience with IIS, DNS, WINS helpful.
- Strong technical knowledge of current messaging systems software, protocols, and standards, including SMTP, POP3, IMAP, and HTTP.
- Active Directory expertise a plus.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- BS Degree in related field highly beneficial.
- MCSE / MCSA certifications or similar training mandatory.
- Candidates local to greater Cincinnati area strongly preferred.
- This is a permanent full-time opportunity, which might be structured as a contract-to-hire.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
