Platform Engineer (Client / Server) - Sr. Rails + Obj C Programmer

Job Summary:

You will work with an A+ team of talent in a fast paced environment where your daily work has significant impact. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will be responsible for Client Side development of the OpenFeint platform. You will work closely to with the Engineering team to manage platform updates, documentation, and customer support. You will become an expert on all things OpenFeint.

You are:

* Flexible: Our needs change on a daily even hourly basis. Ability to manage multiple projects and deal with ambiguity a must. Grace under pressure is a requirement here.
* A Doer and a Thinker: Ability to roll up your sleeves and contribute to decision making is important. Having just one of these skills is not enough, so come self-motivated and maybe a little stubborn :)
* A Perfectionist: You want to get it right and you work tirelessly to get there, multiple iterations don't put you off because you want to be proud of your work when it goes out the door.

Core Required Skills:

* Expert with database concepts (schema normalization, optimization, and scaling)
* Expert Ruby on Rails with several delivered projects (show examples)

and/or (if you're an "and" we really want to hear from you)

* Expert Objective-C with Cocoa and UIKit
* Experience building Mac or iPhone applications

Other Desired Skills:

* Thorough understanding of software engineering best practices (OOP, DRY, MVC, TDD, etc.)
* Familiarity with Scrum or Xp
* Active Open Source development experience
* Self-directing, motivated, and passionate
