The contractor shall utilize Human Factors Engineering (HFE) processes and studies to gather and analyze user requirements for user interface and business application functionality. HFE analysis techniques (heuristic evaluation, usability testing, etc.) shall be used to analyze existing user interfaces (UIs) when required. As appropriate, storyboards and prototype UI designs shall be used to further refine requirements, coordinate operational workflows, and illustrate high-level software interface design concepts. The contractor shall coordinate operator interactions for feedback on requirements, processes, and UIs using suitable methods such as contextual observations, working groups, on-line feedback, and surveys. Defines research methodology and conducts human factors research. Work with the designers and the product team to develop, design and execute design, data collection, analysis, and translate findings and implications into actionable recommendations for a diverse product team.

This job requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures is also required. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Top Secret security clearance is required.
