The Interactive Developer role is an amalgam of both design and development disciplines. The Interactive Developer is expected to have a high level of interest and expertise in interactive design, content authoring and system design. An Interactive Developer delivers high-quality interactive solutions by completing projects on time, on budget, and in a manner that surpasses expectations. The Interactive Developer reports to the Senior Interactive Developer or the Interactive Director.

Qualifications:

• Reviews all project work with the Creative Director or Interactive Director
• Consistently meets and exceeds expectations on delegated work with minimal changes required
• Does a mix of software development and content production work
• Develops rapport with clients and associates and works collaboratively with the various disciplines within the business
• Understands the time and effort required for various interactive development tasks for various channels and platforms
• Develops an understanding of the industry and the role of interactive development in various aspects of the industry
• Demonstrates an ability to define the work for other associates
• Manages multiple assignments and tasks with a predictable level of quality
• Identifies ways to build capacity within the organization
• Owns responsibility for attaining milestones
• Estimates work accurately
• Demonstrates good communication skills in business and interpersonal relationships
