Specific responsibilities include
As a data warehouse developer on our team you will participate primarily in the development of ETL processes using SQL and shell scripts. Coding ETL scripts that will extract data from an operational database and populate the target data warehouse Developing shell scripts for production job automation Working in a 24x7 environment which requires on-call rotation Providing query writing support and tuning expertise to end users Documenting code and processes for distribution to all interested parties


Required Skills:
* Must have 7-8 year experience in database development
* Exceptional Oracle SQL skills
* Hands on experience with set based operations, analytic functions and query hints
* Thorough knowledge of data warehouse principles and techniques
* Must be proficient with UNIX and shell scripting Preferred Skills
* Experience working with a large, multi-terabyte data warehouse
* Experience with Medicaid or healthcare
* Experience with Perl, system administration, database administration, storage architectures, backup & recovery and networking
* Generally being a technophile with command of the command line
