Summary
You will serve as the lead designer for the development of user interfaces for all customer-facing online products. You will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of UI that boosts conversion of web traffic, improves products and delivers exceptional usability for the brand value. You will be responsible for technical development of creative concepts and integration of customer research findings to achieve key conversion, brand preference and revenue. Responsibilities include:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development & management, marketing and customers to optimize user experience
Interpret special interest group findings, product requirements and marketing requirements to increase preference and usage
Validate and communicate designs by creating user task flows, wireframes, prototypes, detailed functional design specifications and usability tests
Design prototypes and mock ups to effectively communicate functional behavior to stakeholders
Serve as an advisor on the design and implementation of functionality
Brainstorms with project teams to understand business and technical constraints
Participate in product usability tests and translate the results into actionable suggestions for improving/enhancing user experiences

Requested
5+ years design experience, a majority of which should be designing UIs
Bachelors degree in related field of study
Proficient using design tools such as:
o Photoshop
o Paintshop Pro
o HTML
o XML
o CSS
Knowledge of web technologies such as application and web servers, .NET, etc.
Knowledge of several of the following:
o User Interface Design principles
o Human Factors
o User-Centered Design Processes
o Interaction Design guidelines
o Usability Methodologies
o Industry standards and trends
o Platform standards
o Software development processes
o Prototyping/design
