- Equities IT position - supporting internal Cash traders on various applications covering program trading, block trading, internal crossing, risk management and allocation.
- Position will also support batch processes.
- Computer science, engineering background preferred.

- Excellent communication skills. Specifically need to demonstrate ability to communicate with traders, business managers and senior technology managers and staff

- Understanding of US Equity (program trading, block/prop trading, strategy trading, IOI, and single stock business flow).

- The individual will be highly committed: reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy are essential to ensure a courteous and efficient service is provided with tact and patience. The ability to manage a tense situation is a must.

- Hands on scripting experience - Perl, Shell.
- Experience with Sybase, Oracle DB, SQL Server - creating DB queries
- Experience with UNIX, Solaris, Linux, Windows XP operating systems
- Experience with autosys
- Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes.
- Demonstrate ability to drive and follow through on complicated issues.
- Demonstrate willingness to include others if handling difficult situations.

- Batch processing meant running/monitoring various end of day/start of day jobs, with utilization of autosys.
