We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

The Software Engineer will administer systems development for the core development division to ensure game operation is appropriate for online game publishing company. The Senior Software Engineer shall execute the planning and designing programs, fraud detection, online payment gateway and back office systems development.

We are Nexon America Inc., the North American publishing arm of Nexon Group (1994), a pioneer of interactive entertainment software and the world's leader in massive multiplayer online games which it developed and introduced in 1996.

Nexon America opened for business in Los Angeles in 2005 to bring the best of online entertainment to North American audiences. The company's growing library of titles includes the world-famous franchise MapleStory, the online, the role playing fantasy life of Mabinogi and the online multiplayer first-person shooter Combat Arms.

Responsibilities:
• Execute overall billing related to the software development appropriate for online games.
• Develop, test, and manage payment gateway related to systems and management protocol.
• Develop, test and manage online fraud detection systems.
• Develop, test and manage back office tool for the billing system.
• Research and prepare recommendations for online billing technology.
• Train and supervise other software engineers on the team.
• Provide updated status reports.
• Troubleshoot problems with the systems.
• Must understand software life-cycle management.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ experience with OOP (C#, C++)
• Strong experience with RDBMS, Microsoft .Net platform.
• Software life cycle management experience a plus.
• Portal or billing system development and maintenance experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills, problem analysis and resolution skills.
• Must be willing to work additional hours and willing to travel if necessary.
