This is a very senior-level position that develops and provides a comprehensive and instructionally-advanced educational / instructional architecture to an entire e-learning development team. Provides unquestionable knowledge and expertise in e-learning architecture and adaptive learning (individualized learning) theory to provide expert educational design to an entire team of E-learning product developers. Is the key individual responsible for the adaptive learning educational architecture used throughout the entire large-scale program. Is responsible for the e-learning educational architecture from concept through final system delivery. Uses knowledge of learning theory, courseware sequencing, adaptive learning and LMS technical capabilities to ensure the top-down educational design meets adaptive learning and general performance criteria. Ensures the educational architecture is implemented by the curriculum team during all phases of e-learning system development using a commercial LMS. Interfaces with other program directors with synchronous streaming content and their independent training programs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ year's relevant experience in hands-on large-scale web-based, classroom based or blended learning programs development using structured development practices, and commercial Learning Management Systems (LMS)

- Must have outstanding professional knowledge and experience in adaptive learning technologies, individualized self-paced e-learning, enterprise-wide collaborative content management, blended instructional techniques, and curriculum sequencing, and be considered an expert in this field.

- Proven track record/ experience in E-learning and web-based technologies and products, synchronous and asynchronous, developing and implementing educational architectures in e-learning courses, curriculum, and web-based systems.

- Detailed knowledge and experience in the capabilities of commercial industry standard LMS such as Blackboard?, MOODLE? and Sakai?.

- Demonstrated experience in developing documented architectures and implementing e-learning programs and curricula on commercial LMS such as Blackboard?, MOODLE?, and Sakai ?

- Proven track record working with or managing content developers, programmers, technical writers, and digital graphics/animators for adaptive learning content.

- Successful track record of product development maintaining stated program cost and schedule via EVM metrics evaluation and reporting.

- Track record of success in all phases of e-learning product development, integration, test, evaluation, and implementation.

- Strong experience and expertise to the “systems approach to training”; educational system development practices; work breakdown metrics /tracking/reporting; configuration management; quality assurance; documentation verification; and, formal system evaluation and verification.

- Masters degree in curriculum and instruction or educational technology preferred
