The Information Technology department at The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) invites you to come join our team of IT professionals. This second level technician provides on site and telephone technical support in solving information technology issues to clients who are experiencing a wide variety of needs ranging from software installation and configuration to hardware problem resolution.

Qualifications:

• Two to three years experience in the technical field preferred
• Mastery of Analyst I technical skills
• Required certifications: MCP and/or MCDST, A+
• Industry standard Service Desk certification desired: HDI Help Desk Analyst
• Experience and knowledgeable in advance computer network troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Windows 2000, XP and Vista
• Advanced front-line support & troubleshooting skills including but not limited to the knowledge of Active Directory account admin, network configuration, remote tools, file system architecture, MS Office, and Outlook
• Ability to know when to escalate a problem
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally with a pleasant demeanor
• Experience at working both independently and in a team oriented environment
• Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
• Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
• Ticket & queue management. Strong documentation skills and managing of work through service request software
