Job Title: PM Infrastructure Maintenance with banking experience.

Location: NYC

Duration: 6 months


The candidate will be part of the DSPM configuration Management team.

The person will be managing critical projects and other BAU activities within DSPM CM. The main project will involve the elimination of RedHat 2.4 within Derivatives IT. This will involve working with TIS teams, application developers and various support teams located in London, New York and Asia Pac.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

Tactical Project Management

Infrastructure maintenance coordination responsibilities. Config Mgmt BAU tasks

Coordinating multi-site application and infrastructure upgrade, migrations and maintenance. Extrapolate technical infrastructure / application related requests and relay and coordinate with different groups

Project Reporting, DR/BCM status reporting to Senior Mgmt.

Datacenter Migration projects. Inventory Management and Cost Transparency admin and management

Strong knowledge of core technologies - e.g. Sybase, Oracle, Storage, Operating systems, web portals and components;

Basic Database administration knowledge;

Familiarity with the Unix/Linux and Windows Environments.

Previous Development experience, preferably Linux / SLES

Gain knowledge of Derivatives Production Environment. Derivatives IT Infrastructure. Gain Project Management experience through involvement in derivatives tactical and strategic projects.
