Position Summary Expertise with full software development life cycle including software system analysis, functional design, technical design, development, testing, code review and production system support. Software design and development expertise with n-tier application system architecture including use of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2008, Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise 2008, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, and CA ERwin Data Modeler technologies. Expertise with software design and development in Microsoft SQL Server database environments with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET including C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Smart Client, Win Forms, XML, XML web services, SOAP, WSDL and IIS. Strong understanding of .NET Framework. Experience using LINQ to SQL. Experience using Microsoft Enterprise Library. Experience using Infragistics NetAdvantage. Experience using IBM Rational ClearCase for system source control and configuration management. Ability to plan objectives and projects. Ability to plan, coordinate, and assign projects and tasks. Direct information technology staff. Advises staff on technical problems, procedures, and methods.

Provides technical leadership on projects. Plans and directs the use of information technology products and services. Knowledgeable of software design and development in Microsoft SQL Server database environments using SQL and T-SQL for stored procedures and functions. Knowledgeable of data analysis and data design. Knowledgeable of performance tuning SQL Server database stored procedures and functions. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills. Effective communication with technical and non-technical personnel. Ability to plan work tasks and projects.
Research technical issues, problems, procedures, and methods and advise management. Provides technical expertise and input on projects. System functional design, technical design, and programming experience with a Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS). Strong understanding of SACWIS functionality. Knowledgeable of data structures and data relationships within SACWIS application systems. Strong understanding of child welfare business.

Requirements Background check requirements: 7 year criminal background Drug Screening: 5 Panel drug screening is required prior to beginning work in any agency at the State of Indiana. All candidate selections are contingent upon successfully passing both background and drug screening.
