This position will support the user community with the use of business intelligence and other tools to query databases for operational and historical data delivery. Works closely with users to define critical information needs, provide guidance regarding availability of data, communicate the capabilities of the systems delivering the information, and provide subject matter expertise. Participates in the design and development of reports centrally, and mentors departmental staff in the use of the tools and with the development of their reports. Reviews queries for performance issues, making changes as needed.
