BASIC FUNCTION
A global company that brings together technology and engineering to provide innovative solutions for our customers in a wide range of industrial, commercial, and consumer markets, is seeking an IT Project Manager responsible for delivering SOA based projects. The Project Manager will follow our Clients Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) methodology using Agile methods.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Works to define and document functional requirements using Use Cases
Manage projects to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
Minimizes our exposure and risk on projects
Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis
Effectively applies PDLC methodology and ensures compliance
Ensures project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately
Reports on SLAs (service level agreements) and ensures SLAs are met
Prepares daily critical situation reports and weekly status reports
Follows change management and change control processes
Identifies resources needed and assigns responsibilities
Coordinates activities with ERS, IT Shared Services and outside vendors and partners
Work effectively in a global team environment
Experience of working in the Retail sector and an understanding of control systems

EDUCATION
Bachelors degree required, with a major in Computer Science or Business preferred
PMP (PMI) Certification preferred

EXPERIENCE
7 to 10 years of related experience in IT including managing projects and teams
Experience managing SOA based development projects is essential
Experience in application development processes and managing development resources is essential
Experience with MS Project
Detailed knowledge or familiarity with any of the following technologies is a plus: J2EE, Struts, JRE, J2SE, EJB, JNDI, J2EE (JDK), JDBC, Java Servlets, Java Server Pages, XML, SOAP, Oracle ADF, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle DB, Oracle Application Server
Ability to lead disparate teams consisting of customers, vendors, and peer organizations through informal reporting relationships required
Exceptional customer service orientation and written and verbal communication skills
Some travel required
