Job Profile:

w2bi is bringing to market LTE Q-GENERIC®, its turnkey test and certification solution for LTE devices. w2bi is seeking a RF Engineer/Product Manager to define and develop LTE device test and certification solution. The candidate will not only be responsible for contributing to the overall strategic product direction and feature definition but will work with engineering team to design, build, and release new solution working within tight deadlines and high value objectives.

Scope of Work:

• Lead team of developers for RF Conformance test development based on 3GPP 36.521 specifications.
• Work with emulator vendor to define requirements and ensure required functionality is supported
• Develop pseudo code and work with development team to build automation system
• The automation should include, developing scripts, emulator control, mobile control, reporting etc.
• Validate results and outcome of every script
• Perform project management and keep upper management informed of the status regularly
• Perform interoperability testing with a couple of UEs

Required skills:

• Thorough understanding of RF test and measurement concepts
• Experience in RF testing (3GPP or 3GPP2) for device certification
• Experience with network emulators such as Agilent, R&S, Anritsu, Spirent etc.
• Experience with diagnostic tools for handsets such as CAIT, QXDM etc.
• Experience with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, channel emulators etc.
• Understanding of automated test systems
• Proven experience in product development of wireless emulation equipment for handset testing
• Thorough understanding of various 3G/4G wireless technologies including LTE, WIMAX, WCDMA, CDMA
• Must have led/participated in industry standardization efforts such as 3GPP and 3GPP2 and must be experienced writing product design and requirement documents
• Ability to communicate with different levels of management, partners and customers
• Ability to travel domestic as well as international on as needed basis
