Job Description :-

The IP Engineer Sr. enables the company's systems to communicate through maintaining the speed and capacity of the LAN/ WAN network by redesigning and upgrading the network infrastructure.


Job Duties :-

Plan, design, and implement LAN/ WAN system configurations
Troubleshoot network complex problems that do not have established procedures
Maintain and recommend improvements to LAN/ WAN system security
Continually assess , recommend, and implement upgrades to network systems
Review contracts for network support
Assist in development of network staff
Lead small engineering teams in implementation issues
Document system modifications and user documentation
Work with PMO staff in fulfilling company initiatives that involved network services
Perform other duties as assigned


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :-

College or technical certification required
At least two years of network experience required
CCNP required and CCIE a plus. Expert level understanding of dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP required
Familiarity with Juniper equipment required
Expert level hands-on experience with Cisco and Junos required
At least 8 years of network experience preferred
Ability to investigate and assess issues to make certain the correct solution is implemented working with J-TAC, TAC, and other vendor support mechanisms required
Ability to follow all company policies and procedures, as well as internal departmental procedures to ensure consistency in systems
Ability to work in team driven environment to assist in organization-wide issues
Continuously educate to stay informed of recent advances and problems
Communication and writing skills to explain technical changes and issues
Willingness to take ownership for own work to continuously improve performance


Required Qualifications Only :-
