SUMMARY:

Assist customers, District Managers and Web Handling Specialist with engineering support and equipment specifications, for customer quotations. Study and solve application issues related to the lateral control, tension control, and inspection product lines. Prepare and issue system quotations.

RESPONSIBILITIES: -Review orders to verify material properties, equipment application and component compatibility.

-Perform necessary calculations and run application programs for new equipment selections and sizing. In some cases write new application programs.

-Develop solutions for systems applications where standard solutions do not exist. This includes research on other products by external companies that may be used with client's equipment.

-Organize and setup training seminars which includes creating and maintaining training materials and equipment.

-Develop and present papers related to web handling at industrial conferences.

-Provide engineering support to outside customers and internal customers including; Web Handling Specialist, customer support personnel, engineering group and District Managers as required.

-Conduct research for similar or duplicate application documentation and check and update changes made to previous designs.

-Prepare and issue quotations and handle the duties of the Web Handling Specialist in all areas.

-Determine costs and estimate margin dollars based on equipment costs on quotations and orders.

-Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering. Two years minimum post academic work experience is required. Web Process experience is a plus.

-The successful candidate will have the ability to read, understand, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

-In addition the ability to prepare Power Point presentations as well as wri
