Trimech Services seeks Sr. Embedded Software Engineer for a full-time, direct hire opportunity in Pennsylvania.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform technical feasibility studies and write technical product specifications.
• Analyze hardware component documentation and industry technical specifications.
• Develop production and unit test code.
• Develop diagnostics to support regulatory compliance testing.
• Develop network diagnostics tools for field applications.
• Review designs and code of other engineers.
• Integrate, customize, and debug 3rd party software.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS in EE, CS or related discipline, MS preferred.
• 5 years of C/C++ software development experience.
• Experience with embedded SOC processors, especially XScale, OMAP, and ARM core based processors.
• Embedded Operating Systems, especially custom Windows CE builds using Platform Builder and Embedded Linux.
• Experience with wireless drivers and/or other networking driver development.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Understanding of WiFi (802.11) and associated networking security protocols (i.e. WPA, WPA2).
• Understanding of Bluetooth (802.15) and associated profiles.
• Experience in low-power, battery-operated mobile devices preferred.

Domestic and international travel, up to 10%, may be necessary for this position.
