Our client seeking the services of a Cognos developer/analyst to develop reports, frameworks, and dashboards. Initial focus will be to develop reports and dashboards.. The successful candidate will work with the client's teams to understand and fulfill their reporting information needs.

This individual must be able understand business functional requirements and reporting tool functionality; synthesize the requirements and reporting capabilities into functional specifications; prepare technical specifications; and develop and test the final product. The solution will contain ad-hoc query, drill-down, slice and dice capabilities, static reporting, managed queries, and dashboards. Design, develop, and test reports and Dashboards in Cognos 8.0 or higher. Working with business units to help with defining reports, creating reports, and ad hoc queries
3+ years Cognos BI 8.0 tool including Framework Manager, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio and Metric Studio.
3+ years experience creating advanced reports in Cognos including multi-prompt reports, drill down reports and conditional lay-outs etc.
Experience in creating frameworks for new databases.
Solid knowledge of Oracle database, SQL, and data modeling.
3+ years of experience as Reports Developer
