Job description: M/MX Software engineering support. Be a part of a small but dynamic team, working with TAC escalation, large customers and development engineering organizations to ensure a smooth flow of information and communication.

Responsibilities:
? Presenting updates and explanations of deeply technical issues to various levels at customers.
? Tracking and prioritizing issues and aligning resources to address these issues within development engineering.
? Reporting to engineering management on issues/updates

Skills:
? Customer presentations and interactions.
? shell and perl scripting
? Unix working knowledge.
? C/C++ programming background.
? Strong working knowledge of IP routing and bridging protocols, MPLS, and MPLS based VPNs
? Strong working knowledge of CoS/QoS
? Copper and optical interface knowledge (dsx/Tx/SONET/ENET)
? Background in quality processes
