Job Description

• Work with the Business Analyst to convert the business requirements and functional requirements into a clearly defined set of user tasks / use cases.

• Plan the task flows that correspond to your assigned use cases.

• Create wireframes that communicate the planned task flows and screen elements.

• Create low-fidelity interactive prototypes of key interactions in iRise and other tools.

• Assist in identifying key UI design issues and in formulating an effective process to address those issues.

• Create additional supporting documentation as needed.

• Hands on in Adobe Flash and Flex technology along with basic understanding of other Adobe products (will do UI prototype development)

• Creative in nature

• Co-ordinate during UI requirements definition

• Have some basic knowledge on XML and understand backend content processing into XML (we will require to extract content which will be created using the Flex UI)



Requirements



• 5-6 yrs of experience in designing complex web applications or desktop applications

• Strong portfolio illustrating the various stages of the application design process

• Proven track record for translating business requirements into highly usable and innovative designs for websites and/or web-based applications

• A passion for user-centric design methodologies

• Able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

• Experienced in various tools to create wireframes and interactive prototypes; experience in Power point or Visio.

• A strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is highly desirable

• Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in HCI, user experience design, or a closely related field
