We have an opening for a full-time HTML Developer for our growing business. The ideal candidate will have solid experience enhancing consumer facing e-commerce websites using web 2.0 technologies.

The role of HTML Developer is dynamic and high-energy. Snapfish's fast pace, rapid growth, and high rate of customer acquisition makes this job challenging, exciting, and essential to our continued success.


Responsibilities:

Working collaboratively with production, marketing, designing, engineering and QA teams to launch new content to our site
Translate visual designs, comps and wireframes into clean markup and code via HTML/XHTML/JavaScript/CSS and related web technologies
Dynamically creating and editing pages via homegrown systems
Code appropriately for cross browser implementation, optimizing page load time, and SEO best-practices
Prototyping of new products, features and functionality in collaboration with UI designers


Qualifications:

2+ years experience coding standards-compliant HTML/XHTML/JavaScript/CSS/PHP, both by hand and with tools like Dreamweave
Minimum 1 year experience with e-commerce site
Strong knowledge of latest online emerging technologies
Demonstrated experience working with interaction and visual designers to create dynamic web application prototypes

Self-starter with intimate knowledge of web development, who is able to learn quickly, multi-task in a fast-paced environment
