SESC is searching for a Software Technical Writer to work in Atlanta, GA. Ideal candidate will have a solid background, samples of work (portfolio) as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of vendors and internal customers. Also, demonstrate the Ability to evaluate and learn new business strategies and adhere to established timelines.

Technical Writer
Qualifications:
• Experience developing complete and concise user interface and/or user experience documentation. Experience developing technical documentation, (e.g., functional specifications, technical notes, software change requests, etc) may substitute for specific UI/UX experience.
• Excellent writing skills and experience generating specifications and documents from researched information; a solid understanding of user interface and user experience documentation standards; a solid understanding of mobile and web UI technologies with the capability to research technical issues.
• Experienced with diagramming various aspects of a system, (e.g., use case, page flow, process flows, application components, UI mockups or wire frames, etc) and experienced in documenting the potential attributes of components and features.
• Demonstrate a general understanding of the various front-end technologies used by the Development organization (e.g., Java, Brew, JSP, HTML, and XML) and be able to put together a business solution that meets business requirements.
• Knowledge and understanding of consumer facing solutions for ecommerce, shopping cart and checkout, online banking, online bill pay, or other consumer facing commerce software domain expertise / experience. Mobile experience in any of the aforementioned is a significant plus.
• Can learn new mobile/web technologies/applications and conduct training to other individuals or groups.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Documentation of user interface and user experience specifications for new products and features.
• Work with all levels of the product strategy / product delivery organization including people with different styles and backgrounds (interaction designers, product managers, development engineers, quality assurance engineers, implementation engineers, and management) to:
o Annotate and document new user interfaces and user experiences as conceptualized by the interaction designers
o Annotate and document existing user interfaces and user experiences (e.g., re-engineer wireframe specifications)
o Ensure complete documentation coverage across all user interface and user experience deliverables
• Work with interaction designers, conduct reviews of user interface and user experience specifications with product managers, developers, quality assurance, operations & customer service teams and finalize the specifications based on their input.

Education
BS/MS or equivalent experience.
