SESC is searching for an Interaction Designer with at least three years of user interface design experience and a Bachelors degree in Human-Computer Interaction or a related design or behavioral science discipline to work in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and organization skills and has a passion for creating products that resonate emotionally with people.

Interaction Designer -- Mobile/Web
Interaction Designers conduct product research, strategy, information architecture development, and interaction design to create products that delight our customers; regardless of whether it's a mobile application or consumer Website. Interaction Designers are able to discover, understand, and communicate the business requirements of the products, the emotional desires of our consumer and business customers, and the context in which these two come together.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct user requirements analysis, task analysis, conceptual modeling, information architecture design, interaction design, and usability testing.
• Design and specify user interfaces and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirements discovery.
• Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications.
• Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.

Job Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to mobile applications and Web-based applications.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as
o Photoshop
o Illustrator
o Visio
o Dreamweaver
• Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of mobile technologies such as
o iPhone OS
o Android
o J2ME
o BREW
o Microsoft Windows Mobile
o BlackBerry OS
o Symbian (UIQ or Nokia Series 60) or
o Flash Lite
• Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of Web technologies such as
o HTML
o WAP
o JavaScript
o Flash
o CSS
