Job Description:
The SQL Server Developer will be responsible for maintaining the DEVELOPMENT databases and working with developers in creating new stored procedures, schemas etc. They will be responsible for creating and maintaining all logical and physical designs on the database.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 5+ years experience in database design and implementation using SQL Server 2000 and/or SQL Server 2005.
2. At least 1 year with SQL Server 2005.
3. Experience in a structured SDLC environment including establishment and adherence to design and coding standards, documentation and preparing database object migration scripts.
4. Experience with Transact-SQL (T-SQL) in constructing stored procedures, user functions, triggers, keys, indexes and constraints.
5. Experience writing complex queries including sub-selects, CTEs and aggregations.
6. Experience with relational database models, data normalization, data integrity and contention management.
7. Experience with performance tuning: query optimization and index impact analysis.

8. Experience with SQL Server 2005 Integration Service (SSIS).
9. Experience trouble shooting production data issues.


Required Skills:
Candidates must have a strong understanding of the following:
1) The Business Logic Layer
2) Data Marts
3) OLAP Cubes
4) Working with Microsoft Database Development Tools
5) Data Analysis
6) Data Warehousing

Candidates will need to have worked with large scale database designs and have strong Database Development skills.
