Technical writer will provide technical knowledge and field relay experience with microprocessor based relays in writing standard procedures and for NERC Relays on Co.'s Transmission System.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Create accurate standard written procedures, verify and correct existing standard procedures, and combine all standard procedures into one manual.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS A graduate from a college or university with an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or 5 to 10 years equivalent experience with no degree. Must have field experience in the utility industry testing relays during new installation, routine maintenance, and/or trouble shooting; exhibit strong teamwork and individual drive -- highly motivated, articulate and eager to meet project goals; excellent written and oral communication skills; good time management and personal organizational skills; ability to use Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other computer applications (e.g. Adobe Reader) to accomplish assigned tasks.
