SENIOR TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

DUTIES: Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides innovative and ingenious solutions. Independently develops, modifies, and maintains complex programs or systems that lead to or support several interrelated but different products. Tests, documents, and writes operating instructions for all work. Perform systems or programming analysis such as research and assessment of alternate program or systems options, requirements definition, or engineering change proposal (ECP) development. Participates as a member on teams developing large and complicated systems or programs.

QUALIFICATIONS: Doctorate degree from an accredited university or college or Master's degree with a minimum of 8 yrs experience, or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 yrs experience, or no degree with 15 years of hands-on experience. Demonstrated success in a broad cross-section of applicable technical areas.
