Position: PHP Web Developer
Position Type: Full Time

Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to work on a leading edge PHP implementation for our client which is experiencing significant growth.
This position is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of our clients applications. The individual will work both independently and as part of the development team. Position requires the ability to establish task timelines and track against project plans and guidelines. Looking for a highly energized, highly motivated individual to join a part of our clients growing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain PHP based applications providing significant hands on development using PHP, HTML, and XML technologies.
• Participates on project teams, doing application analysis, development and modifications
• Participate in design discussions and contribute to enterprise-wide technology decisions (e.g., appropriate technology choice, approach, process, etc.)
• Makes complex modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with high-level specifications, application support, and industry standards.
• Assist team in defining, documenting and managing applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Solid web-site development experience with PHP in a multi-tiered environment.
• Solid experience integrating PHP with Postgres database layers.
• Proven experience development experience in an Ecommerce realm would be a huge plus.
• Experience with Lotus Symphony framework would be a plus.
• Ability to produce clearly written and documented code
Must be able to strive and perform at a consistently high level in a demanding, fast-paced environment and display a "can do" attitude at all times.
