Technical position responsible for design/development activities, typically supervised by a more senior technical person assigned to same or cross-functional discipline (IT, software, or systems engineering).

With guidance from more senior engineer(s), understand, plan, and execute technical activities in accordance with SNC policies, procedures, and work instructions and specific Customer requirements.

Originate specifications, control documents, verification and validation plans, procedures, reports, or other documentation in support of design and development activities.

Prepare material for, and conduct, periodic design reviews.

Execute engineering design and development activities consistent with Customer quality, cost and schedule requirements.

Perform other duties as required by more senior engineer(s), Project Engineer or Program Manager.

REQ.
5+ years of experience in MS Windows Active Directory, LINUX and/or UNIX administration, software configuration management, scripting skills (various languages), Apache, SharePoint and webserver administration. Ability to work in a team environment and posses strong interpersonal skills is a must.

The desired candidate will have diverse technical experience including administration of software COTS/GOTS products, working on custom software development projects, computer systems administration and network administration. Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline a plus.

Must have the ability to gain and maintain a government security clearance.
