Degree strongly preferred, need an Electrical Engineer that has power dist., generators, ac/dc, installation, this will support the telecommunication facilities. Telecom is not required, just need a strong Electrical Engineer. Supporting telecom. and grounding systems for telecommunication facilities. Specify and bid systems, evaluate bids, and recommend equipment for purchasing. Prepare installation job packages with parts list and documentation. Oversee installation, test, and turn-up of new facilities. This postion will work as a member of the Telecommunication Division and will provide engineering and support of the power and grounding systems for microwave, fiber, voice, and data telecommunication equipment. Most travel limited to regional day trips.

Desired competencies and experience should include 3 to 5 years experience in all of the following:
Specifying, preparing cost estimates, engineering and installation of 48VDC power systems including batteries and chargers. Specifying, preparing cost estimates, engineering and installation of standby propane and diesel generators including automatic transfer switch.

Specifying, preparing cost estimates, engineering and installation of grounding systems specifically related to telecom facilities.

Specifying, preparing cost estimates, engineering and installation of power inverter systems.

Current knowledge of and experience with National Electric Code(NEC) specifically related to AC and DC power systems, and tower and equipment grounding at telecom sites.

experience using AutoCAD a plus. Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to function as part of a team a must.
