The job requirements for SR. IT Specialist / JAVA / J2EE Developer are as follows:

SR. IT Specialist/JAVA-J2EE DEVELOPER, having expertise with object oriented design and development; Rational Unified Process, Java, The WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD) version 5.1, WebSphere Application Server 5.0 and 6.1, JSPs, JSTL, XML, EJBs, RAD, RSA, JUnit, ANT, messaging, Structured Query Language, SQL Server 2000/2005, and Microsoft Visio are required. SR. IT SPECIALIST will be responsible for the creation, modification, and maintenance of documentation required in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process that includes, but is not limited to, Use Cases, Use Case Diagrams, Risk Analysis, Business Design Documents, etc. Must have specialized experience/background skills in the following requirement areas:

• Architecture analysis to meet specific performance and volume specifications
• Software analysis and design
• Technical assistance and knowledge transfer
• Risk Analysis
• Technical Documentation
• Research and development of application changes and enhancements
• Research and resolution of application problems
• Use Case Development
• Construction of Software
• Unit, integration, and system testing
• Load testing to include initial benchmarking
• Software Configuration Management
• Problem resolution in support of Acceptance Testing
• Implementation support
• Performance analysis of applications (code analysis) and databases performance (SQL, clustered indexes).
• Detailed Project Plan and Project Management deliverables required for Earned Value Management Statistics (EVMS).

Required Experience:

JAVA/J2EE, Websphere Application Server (WAS) 5.0 & 6.1, WSAD 5.1, RUP, and related web technologies including 2-3 implementations.
Strong JAVA/J2EE skills
Strong understanding of SQL and RDBMS.

SENIOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST

General Description: An individual very knowledgeable in all aspects of
Information Technology. Has extensive experience in the specific Information
Technology discipline(s). Demonstrates excellent oral and written
communications skills.

General Experience: Eight years of progressive experience in the field of
Information Technology, including six years of specialized experience in
numerous, highly specialized Information Technology disciplines involving a
wide range of hardware/software solutions.

Specific Experience: Four years of General Experience is concentrated, hands-on
experience in the specific discipline(s) of Information Technology identified in
the examples below.

Practical experience: Has experience in providing highly technical and
specialized guidance, and solutions to complex Information Technology
problems. Individual has performed elaborate analyses and studies. Individual
has recent and relevant experience in preparing reports and presentations in
support enterprise-wide solutions and project. Works independently or as a
member of a team.
