Expected Deliverables
Assist Functional and Technical group with technology assistance to bring new module into the Dept - Oracle Time and Labor. This project is also expected to utilize web services for time entry movement. Add expertise and guidance to Senior DBA staff with new technologies - best practices and troubleshooting.
Provide weekly status reports of hours worked, what tasks were assigned, what has been completed, and what issues are outstanding.

Expected Skill Sets
Expertise Needed:
-Five (5) plus years experience in Oracle database administration (RDBMS 9i and 10g). -Three (3) plus years experience with Oracle Applications 11i with particular emphasis placed on Human Resources and Financials, and Oracle Time and Labor. Any public sector Oracle Applications experience is desirable.
- Proven experience with patching, configuration and troubleshooting applications is required.
-Four (4) years experience in UNIX (AIX 5.2 preferred) as well as proven expertise with SQL, PLSQL, SQL*Net, Performance Tuning, Oracle Applications Servers, Web servers and Oracle Enterprise Manager or like product.

Job Description (Scope of Work): DBA will work independently, and as part of a team which is responsible for onboarding of the Oracle Applications to Oracle Time and Labor. DBA will assist other DBAs in familiarizing themselves with new technology stacks, new processes, features and changes in functionality. They will also be charged with reviewing scripts, procedures and policies for standardization and Oracle Application compliance. Finally, the DBA will assist the staff in troubleshooting, patching and logging Service Requests to Oracle.
