Our direct client is looking for a Datawarehouse Business Analyst. Advises and recommends areas of program planning, business management, budget execution and program coordination. Prepares needs assessment. Validates resource requirements and develops cost estimate models. We are in search of a proactive problem solver with proven analytical skills. Positions in this function work in the business analysis phase of the system development cycle and consult with users to define business processes and the information systems for supporting those processes. The successful candidate will be considered: A company thought leader, A functional SME, and A resource to senior leadership. Responsibilities:Working within the technology operations function for the support and enhancement of an operational product First line of customer communication regarding operational objectives Work with end users to address incidents and resolve at their root cause Manage tickets for customers, including break/fix and ongoing process improvement initiatives Prioritize and address operational tickets on an ongoing basis Ensure stability, scalability and performance of the platform* Providing business/technical support and guidance for clients and internal business units; mastery in evaluating requirements and capabilities; analysis of alternatives, recommendations and data mapping Creating communication vehicles for all stakeholders Developing and implementing operating procedures and practices to support a customer reporting application Managing day to day activities to documented agreements Maintaining load / processing calendars for regular monthly activities Monitoring workflow/pipeline to ensure customer needs are being met on an ongoing basis Required Skills: Prior success serving in a technology operations role Well polished verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated business and data analysis expertise Deep understanding of the SDLC from an Operations and Development perspective Data Warehousing experience Proven project planning skills Ability to provide support off hours for operational issues as required Prior Data Warehousing operational experiences preferred Experiences with MS Access, TOAD and/or SQL desired Success in relationship building and maintenance over an extended period of time Demonstrated ability to work in an ever changing environment Relevant Bachelors degree or equivalent experiences Extensive experience with data analysis or writing business specifications for systems design and development is required. Healthcare industry experience is preferred, as is experience working with demand management tools. Strong MS Office proficiency is a must. A background working with customer relationship management applications is a plus.
